Interview with AuzaNext
“Movement that respects the nervous system.”
Jocelyne Pelchat, our founder, sat down with Mariane Auza, founder of AuzaNext and she asked pertinent questions about what it is we do at Cornerstone Movement Institute, she also got to talk about the current challenges in the industry and what passion looks like.
Reclaiming real Pilates.
Much of the industry has been diluted. Jocelyne is committed to restoring the original, scientific, rehabilitative method Joseph Pilates built; rooted in anatomy, breath, and nervous system function, not trend-based fitness classes.
Why every diagnosis is different.
Two people can share the same condition and show up completely differently. Jocelyne’s takeaway: protocols must be individualized, informed by nervous system behavior, not just structural findings.
Collaboration over prescription.
Her role isn’t to dictate. It’s to co-create. Clients become partners in the process, with Jocelyne as a facilitator, guide, and supporter; never a one-way authority figure.
Her advice to clinic owners? Passion > profit.
Grow because you care about people, not because you’re chasing volume. Integrity, quality, and personalization create real impact (and ironically, sustainable business) over time.
